The defense sector is inherently sensitive. To ensure a safe and secure experience for all participants, we take several important precautions:
Participant Screening
We conduct light background checks on all participants to ensure alignment with defense sensitivities. In particular, we screen for affiliations with countries identified as security risks under Section 13 (1) No. 17 of the German Security Clearance Act (Sicherheitsüberprüfungsgesetz, SÜG), as determined by the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) in coordination with the Federal Foreign Office.
On-Site Security
To ensure the safety of everyone attending, we work with a professional security firm. All attendees will undergo ID and bag checks upon entry. Security personnel may also conduct additional checks as needed.
Attendance and Information Guidelines
- Do not share the event location with anyone—including friends, family, or colleagues—and never post it online or in any communication channels, even internal ones.
- Weapons are strictly prohibited. As a rule of thumb: if you can’t being it through airport security, it’s not allowed at the event.
- Photography and filming are permitted in general, but only with consent. Do not photograph or record individuals without their permission. Always check before publishing photos or videos.
- Do not bring or discuss confidential information. Treat everything shared or discussed at the event as public.
- Be vigilant against social engineering and phishing attempts. Report any suspicious messages, emails, or behavior to the organizers immediately. Be cautious of anyone seeking information under false pretenses.
- UAV (drone) operations must be disclosed in advance. Contact the organizers to obtain approval before any planned flights.
By following these guidelines, you help maintain a secure environment for all. Stay aware, stay discreet, and only trust verified communication from official organizers.
